This flame-retardant goggles protection was developed, among other things, for firefighter safety goggles in use. It can be used in particular when the goggles are not worn or are placed on the helmet. Damage caused by mechanical impact on the lens is minimized. The protection can be easily attached around the goggles by the practical Velcro fasteners and thus also serves for quick cleaning, whereby the removal of the goggles from the helmet is not necessary.

The goggles protection can also be easily stowed due to its small volume. The flame retardant base material also protects against flying sparks and hot ash.

The fabric is certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612 and EN 1149-5.
