Product description 

Single layer flame protection hood with extended bib and narrow face opening. The ergonomic design of the eye opening allows product use with maximum face protection without any restriction of the field of vision. Ideally suited for police operations for ideal face protection. Thanks to the high aramid content (98%), the material is flame retardant and accordingly certified according to EN ISO 11612:2015 A1, B1, C1. The material is also certified according to EN 1149-5.

The hood is also available with police print.

Product instructions

  • Multidimensional fabric structures are clever innovations by our Comazo textile engineers

  • Our range of workwear and protective underwear also includes special articles that prevent or reduce the static charge of objects.

  • Comazo|protect relies on aramid for flame protection. The special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers and thus exhibits extremely high strength.

Material

  • Base layers made of aramid are particularly robust and are characterized by high strength, making them ideal for protecting the wearer and are widely used in the field of PPE.

  • Belltron® is an antistatic, carbon-containing light fiber. Even by adding small quantities of Belltron® to the main material, the workwear has antistatic properties, which are of particular importance for work in clean rooms.

  • The advantage of functional fibers is that they release moisture to the outside and are therefore breathable. They can also contain basic and/or thermal functions.

Certification

  • EN 1149 approved protective clothing is used in environments where there is a risk of explosion.

  • This seal is specifically designed for protective clothing for end users who are exposed to brief contact with flames and against a limited amount of convective, contact and radiant heat.

    This item exceeded my expectations for a modestly priced hood. It is extremely comfortable for long duration wear and provides significant identity protection. I wore it under a protective helmet without issue and will be recommending this product to my colleagues and supervisors.
