The Pro-Membrane flame protection hood offers you first-class protection in demanding operational situations – certified according to EN 13911:2017 and equipped with material tested according to DIN EN ISO 11612:2015 (A1, B1, C1) and EN 1149-5:2018. Its integrated ePTFE membrane provides maximum barrier performance against toxic particles and was tested according to NFPA 1970:2025 with an efficiency of > 99.99%.
The two-layer material concept made of aramid, viscose/Lenzing FR®, carbon fibre/Belltron® and a high-performance nonwoven based on polyimide and aramid offers you the best protection against hot steam, liquids and particles. In addition, the integrated RFID chip enables efficient management of inventory, deployments and maintenance intervals.

FLAME RETARDANT
comazo|protect relies on aramid for flame protection. This special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers and is therefore extremely strong. Aramid fibers, such as “Kermel”, are the ideal solution for protective workwear that goes through fire with you. In addition to their exceptional heat and fire resistance, they are also resistant to acids, alkalis and other corrosive liquids. The aramid fiber also impresses with its different longitudinal and transverse directions, effectively preventing the transfer of heat. The flame-resistant material has no melting point. Burns caused by melting material are therefore impossible. The material does not carbonize until temperatures above 400 °C.
ANTISTATIC
This product is antistatic and is part of our special range for workwear and protective clothing. It reduces and prevents the static charging of objects, which is particularly important when working in the chemical industry or in refineries. It also provides protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The combination of excellent electrostatic properties and arc protection is crucial for the safety of your employees and an indispensable component of modern protective clothing.
