The 100% PU membrane of the flame retardant hood provides ideal protection against soot and nanoparticles, bacteria, viruses, liquids and hot steam. The extended neck and neck area also ensure optimal protection. The ergonomic fit as well as extra flat seams prevent pressure points and guarantee ideal wearing comfort. By means of the special material composition, the hood is very skin-friendly and also offers good elasticity in addition to flame retardancy, antistatic properties and sweat management. The fabric of the hood is certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612:2015 and EN 1149-5:2018, and the hood is additionally certified according to EN 13911:2017. The particle protection is tested according to NFPA 1971:2018 and has an efficiency >99.99%.

FLAME RETARDANT
comazo|protect relies on aramid for flame protection. This special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers and is therefore extremely strong. Aramid fibers, such as “Kermel”, are the ideal solution for protective workwear that goes through fire with you. In addition to their exceptional heat and fire resistance, they are also resistant to acids, alkalis and other corrosive liquids. The aramid fiber also impresses with its different longitudinal and transverse directions, effectively preventing the transfer of heat. The flame-resistant material has no melting point. Burns caused by melting material are therefore impossible. The material does not carbonize until temperatures above 400 °C.

ANTISTATIC
This product is antistatic and is part of our special range for workwear and protective clothing. It reduces and prevents the static charging of objects, which is particularly important when working in the chemical industry or in refineries. It also provides protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The combination of excellent electrostatic properties and arc protection is crucial for the safety of your employees and an indispensable component of modern protective clothing.

Hervorragende Flammschutzhaube – optimaler Schutz und Tragekomfort in der Realbrandausbildung

Die Comazo Flammschutzhaube mit Membran ist absolut top! Ich verwende sie regelmäßig in der Realbrandausbildung und habe sie inzwischen bei etwa 10–15 Durchgängen im Brandcontainer getragen. Der Preis ist nicht günstig, aber völlig OK für die Qualität. Vergleichbare Qualität ist deutlich teurer!! Besonders überzeugend: Keine Kontamination im Halsbereich, keine offenen Stellen zwischen Jacke und Kragen, Saubere Innenohren und keine stinkenden Haare – die Membran funktioniert hervorragend. Guter Feuchtigkeitstransport und insgesamt angenehmer Tragekomfort, trotz Einheitsgröße (ich war überrascht). Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Direkt an der Ohrmuschel ist gelegentlich ein leichtes Knistern der Membranfolie zu hören. Vor dem Einsatz etwas störend, im Einsatz selbst aber fast unproblematisch, da es in den anderen Umgebungsgeräuschen irgendwann untergeht. Deshalb 4,5 von 5 Sternen. :-) Fazit: Eine durchdachte, hochwertige Haube mit klarem Mehrwert im harten Ausbildungseinsatz – ich werde sie wieder kaufen! Meine anderen Flammschutzhauben nutze ich nur noch als Ersatz, und für den regelmäßigen Wechsel werde ich mir eine zweite Comazo-Haube beschaffen. LG F.-H. B
