The laminated membrane made of 100% PU of the flame protection hood offers ideal protection against soot and nanoparticles, bacteria, viruses, liquids and hot steam. The extended neck area also ensures optimum protection. The ergonomic fit as well as extra flat seams prevent pressure points and ensure ideal wearing comfort. By means of the special material composition, the hood is very skin-friendly and also offers good elasticity in addition to flame retardancy, antistatic properties and sweat management. The fabric of the hood is certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612:2015 and EN 1149-5:2018, and the hood is additionally certified according to EN 13911:2017. The particle protection is tested according to NFPA 1971:2018 and has an efficiency >99.99%.

MEMBRANE
The laminated 100% PU membrane in the flame protection hood offers outstanding protection against soot and nanoparticles, bacteria, viruses, liquids and hot steam. The particle protection has been tested according to the NFPA 1971:2018 standard and achieves an efficiency of over 99.99 %. A key advantage is that the membrane covers the entire hood to ensure continuous protection on all surfaces. This makes it a reliable barrier in extreme conditions.
FLAME RETARDANT
comazo|protect relies on aramid for flame protection. This special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers and is therefore extremely strong. Aramid fibers, such as “Kermel”, are the ideal solution for protective workwear that goes through fire with you. In addition to their exceptional heat and fire resistance, they are also resistant to acids, alkalis and other corrosive liquids. The aramid fiber also impresses with its different longitudinal and transverse directions, effectively preventing the transfer of heat. The flame-resistant material has no melting point. Burns caused by melting material are therefore impossible. The material does not carbonize until temperatures above 400 °C.
ANTISTATIC
This product is antistatic and is part of our special range for workwear and protective clothing. It reduces and prevents the static charging of objects, which is particularly important when working in the chemical industry or in refineries. It also provides protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The combination of excellent electrostatic properties and arc protection is crucial for the safety of your employees and an indispensable component of modern protective clothing.

Sweat Management makes sweat-inducing activities during sport or at work more bearable for you. The fibres used are characterized by their extremely hydrophobic properties. Thanks to a sophisticated fabric, sweat is immediately transported to the outside and prevents wet, uncomfortable skin. This keeps your skin dry during labor-intensive processes and there is no risk of your body cooling down if you take a break.

Sehr guter Tragekomfort. Passt sich Bewegungen von Kopf und Hals an und gleicht diese aus, ohne dass Stoff verrutscht und der Hals frei wird. Sehr stabiler Gummizug um die Masken dichtet perfekt ab. Durch die Membran leichte Geräuschdämmung, stört aber nicht. Bereits 3x gewaschen und keine Auffälligkeiten vorhanden
