The Fire Shirt “Basic” in the international color of forest fire protection “yellow” is used especially for fighting vegetation fires. Thanks to the material composition of aramid and Lenzing® FR, the lightweight shirt is flame-retardant and antistatic thanks to the use of Belltron®. Aramid also ensures high strength and makes the material robust, so that it is ideally suited to the demands of life-threatening firefighting operations. The navy blue insert made of hard-wearing woven fabric is also flame-retardant and offers extra protection in the shoulder area. The integrated sweat management ensures a high level of comfort, so that the body remains pleasantly dry despite perspiration and extreme exertion. The Velcro fastener in the center front allows different collar variations and the elasticated cuffs allow the sleeves to be pushed up. Equipped with an extended back area, the “Basic” fire shirt ensures that the body is well covered, even when moving.

FLAME RETARDANT
comazo|protect relies on aramid for flame protection. This special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers and is therefore extremely strong. Aramid fibers, such as “Kermel”, are the ideal solution for protective workwear that goes through fire with you. In addition to their exceptional heat and fire resistance, they are also resistant to acids, alkalis and other corrosive liquids. The aramid fiber also impresses with its different longitudinal and transverse directions, effectively preventing the transfer of heat. The flame-resistant material has no melting point. Burns caused by melting material are therefore impossible. The material does not carbonize until temperatures above 400 °C.
ANTISTATIC
This product is antistatic and is part of our special range for workwear and protective clothing. It reduces and prevents the static charging of objects, which is particularly important when working in the chemical industry or in refineries. It also provides protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The combination of excellent electrostatic properties and arc protection is crucial for the safety of your employees and an indispensable component of modern protective clothing.

Sweat Management makes sweat-inducing activities during sport or at work more bearable for you. The fibres used are characterized by their extremely hydrophobic properties. Thanks to a sophisticated fabric, sweat is immediately transported to the outside and prevents wet, uncomfortable skin.
