Flame-retardant, three-layer hood. It has an elastic face panel and an extra-long neck and nape area. Ideal for the best possible protection against burns in sensitive and often insufficiently covered areas. Thanks to the 3-layer fabric construction, the hood offers extreme protection against heat and hot steam. The extra flat seams help to prevent pressure points. The fabric of the hood is certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612, EN 1149-5, the hood is also certified according to EN 13911. Our 3-layer flame-retardant hood for professional protection.

FLAME RETARDANT
comazo|protect relies on aramid for flame protection. This special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers and is therefore extremely strong. Aramid fibers, such as “Kermel”, are the ideal solution for protective workwear that goes through fire with you. In addition to their exceptional heat and fire resistance, they are also resistant to acids, alkalis and other corrosive liquids. The aramid fiber also impresses with its different longitudinal and transverse directions, effectively preventing the transfer of heat. The flame-resistant material has no melting point. Burns caused by melting material are therefore impossible. The material does not carbonize until temperatures above 400 °C.
ANTISTATIC
This product is antistatic and is part of our special range for workwear and protective clothing. It reduces and prevents the static charging of objects, which is particularly important when working in the chemical industry or in refineries. It also provides protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. The combination of excellent electrostatic properties and arc protection is crucial for the safety of your employees and an indispensable component of modern protective clothing.
