SPECIAL PSA FOR USE IN COMBATING VEGETATION FIRES
Unlike a house fire, which is extinguished after a few hours, a vegetation fire can rage for several days or even weeks. In hot summers, like this year, firefighters have to expose themselves to extremely high temperatures.
This is where our special items for fighting vegetation fires in the signal color “yellow” come into play. These are designed to provide the wearer with the final layer of protection against the flames when fighting vegetation fires. Our base layers are lightweight, robust and flame-retardant thanks to Aramid/Kermel®. They also offer excellent sweat management thanks to viscose from Lenzing FR® and are antistatic thanks to the use of Belltron®. The requirements for modern heat protection clothing are complex, because heat stress is one of the biggest risk factors in demanding situations.

The merino wool sheep has proven to be one of the most resistant sheep when it comes to freezing cold or unbearable heat - in line with the principle of “survival of the fittest”, we are expanding our range to include base layers made from the natural power fiber merino wool - mulesing free, of course. Merino base layers form an ideal basis for the perfect layering system, as the fiber quickly wicks away moisture, ensures a natural body climate and inhibits the development of odors.
