In frosty temperatures, comazo|protect relies on innovative warming technologies. Optimum heat retention through internal roughening or thanks to insulating air cushions in the knitted fabric. These simply let the cold bounce off. All the hairs in their high-tech furs are hollow on the inside and have an air channel just a thousandth of a millimeter thick. As air is a very poor conductor of heat, this has the same effect as a thermos flask. Based on this ideal, we provide both our merino wool and synthetic fibers such as polyamide and polyester with a pore during spinning. To keep as much air as possible in the yarn, we create several air channels in the fibers. These hollow fibers insulate body heat and provide a pleasant feeling of warmth.
Our products offer an effective approach to odour neutralization: they contain incorporated silver ions that are activated by body heat and inhibit the growth of odour-causing bacteria.This technology remains stable even after many washes, as the silver ions are firmly integrated into the fibers.
