This 2-layer flame-resistant hood made from high-performance PBI fibre with an integrated UHF-RFID transponder features a highly elastic face opening that adapts exceptionally well while ensuring an unobstructed field of vision. The extended neck and nape area provides additional protection. The ergonomic fit and extra-flat special seams prevent pressure points and ensure excellent wearing comfort. Thanks to its special material composition, the flame-resistant PBI hood is gentle on the skin and offers good elasticity alongside flame resistance, antistatic properties and moisture management.
When used with a suitable UHF-RFID reader and compatible software, the RFID transponder facilitates digital identification and assignment of the hood, as well as the documentation of inventory, usage history and maintenance intervals.
The hood is certified according to EN 13911:2017. The material is certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612:2015 Code: A1, A2, B1, C1, F1 and EN 1149-5:2018.
