This lightweight base layer is designed to be particularly comfortable to wear next to the skin and has a moisture-regulating effect (can absorb up to 33% moisture without feeling wet). The material composition of 80% merino wool (mulesing free, of course) combines the natural properties of merino sheep and offers temperature regulation as well as exceptionally high durability thanks to the combination with polyamide. This gives the fabric a particularly high abrasion and tear resistance, which is particularly impressive in outdoor use. The round neck shirt also scores points for its odor-inhibiting properties, excellent moisture management and both warming and cooling effect. The high-quality cut, flatlock seams that do not cause chafing and an extended back section also ensure optimum comfort.

Merino wool is an excellent fiber that impresses with its natural ability to regulate temperature and manage moisture. It retains heat in cold weather and wicks away moisture to ensure a comfortable fit in different climate zones. Wool is also very breathable, keeps the skin dry and prevents unpleasant odors as it inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria. An important feature of our merino wool is that it is mulesing-free, which means that it is obtained without the controversial practice of mulesing, which can affect the welfare of sheep. This sustainable and ethical sourcing complements the wool's excellent functional properties.

comazo|protect pushes the boundaries of what is technically possible in lightweight, merino-based products, developing robust yet extremely comfortable base layers. We use a special spinning technology to produce incredibly lightweight merino fabrics. An ultra-fine polyamide thread (also known as nylon) is wrapped around the merino yarn. This method refines the merino wool fibers and creates the yarn that is used in our base layers. The result is an extremely lightweight, durable and abrasion-resistant material that significantly reduces the formation of fluff (pilling).
