The flame-resistant hood with an integrated UHF-RFID transponder features a laminated membrane made from 100 % PU. This provides ideal protection against soot particles, nanoparticles, bacteria, viruses, liquids and hot steam. The extended neck and nape area also ensures optimal protection. The ergonomic fit and extra-flat seams prevent pressure points and ensure excellent wearing comfort. Thanks to its special material composition, the hood is gentle on the skin and offers good elasticity alongside flame resistance, antistatic properties and moisture management.
When used with a suitable UHF-RFID reader and compatible software, the RFID transponder facilitates digital identification and assignment of the hood, as well as the documentation of inventory, usage history and maintenance intervals.
The hood's fabric is certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612:2015 and EN 1149-5:2018, and the hood is additionally certified according to EN 13911:2017. Particle protection has been tested according to NFPA 1971:2018 and achieves an efficiency of > 99.99 %.
