Belltron® 

Belltron® antistatic conductive fibers are available in more than 20 combinations of colors and polymers depending on the intended use. Static control is achieved by blending small amounts of Belltron® into the primary fiber of choice. By adding small amounts of Belltron® to the main material, the workwear already has antistatic properties. Belltron® also offers superior abrasion resistance due to the impregnated nature of the antistatic elements. Belltron® is not a composite fiber, but a nylon or polyester fiber with continuously embedded antistatic particles exposed on the outer surface of the fiber. This new structure gives Belltron® outstanding antistatic properties as well as excellent physical properties. Since Belltron's® fiber surface is smooth, unlike carbon-coated fibers, it has almost the same processability as regular nylon.

The Kermel® fiber - from the meta-aramid family

Kermel® fibers are the result of Rhône Poulenc research in the sixties. At that time, tests were carried out in Colmar, France, to determine which properties were essential for flame-retardant clothing. In 1972, the Kermel® fiber was launched on the market for the first time and has been continuously developed ever since. The Kermel® fiber is one of the so-called meta-aramid fibers, which are heat-resistant and permanently flame-retardant even without chemical treatment. Kermel® fibres do not melt at extremely high temperatures, they carbonize. In contrast to other aramid fibers, however, Kermel® fiber has a smooth, round structure and is dyed through during production (spun-dyed). The advantages are obvious: lasting protection without impregnation. So there is no risk of the protective effect being partially or completely nullified by treatment with the wrong chemical during washing. Fabrics with Kermel® fibers have a pleasantly soft, supple feel. The smooth, round structure reduces the formation of pilling. The colors remain permanently fresh, even after many washes. Fabrics with Kermel® fibers are now used successfully by fire departments, police forces, the military and in industry all over the world.

Euramid® 

Euramid® fiber is one of the so-called meta-aramid fibers, which are heat-resistant and permanently flame-retardant even without chemical treatment. The Euramid® fibre does not melt at extremely high temperatures, it carbonizes. In contrast to other aramid fibers, however, Euramid® fibers have a smooth, round structure and are dyed through during production (spun-dyed). Lenzing FR ® 

The flame-retardant cellulose fiber Lenzing FR® is made from beech wood and is a technological masterpiece. The fiber meets the highest demands when working in the heat or in the danger of fire and protects against heat stress. Made from the natural raw material wood, the fiber offers protection against heat in a wide variety of working environments. Lenzing FR® sets the global quality standard for cellulose fibers with incorporated flame retardancy. Lenzing FR® helps to perform better in extreme situations. Overheating of the body (so-called heat stress) is a great danger when working under enormous physical strain. Lenzing FR® reduces this deadly risk thanks to its excellent moisture management and breathability. With Lenzing FR®, the body can be cooled due to high moisture absorption and moisture release, reducing rapid fatigue, muscle cramps and breathing difficulties. PBI-Gold® 

The flame-retardant high-tech fiber

The PBI-Gold® blend consists of 40% thermally resistant, flame-retardant PBI fiber and 60% high-strength para-aramid fiber. It is a high-tech fabric for thermal protection, comfort and durability. PBI-Gold® does not shrink, does not become brittle and does not break open when exposed to very high heat and flames. As a result, PBI-Gold® offers excellent protection for extreme situations in the flames. Customers are particularly enthusiastic about the improved comfort and high breathability, which results in less heat stress. Comazo|protect functional underwear made of PBI is pleasantly soft to wear, supple, flexible and thus ensures the firefighter a high degree of freedom of movement during work.
