Product description 

This hood offers optimal protection due to its extended neck and neck area. Especially suitable as identity protection. The extra flat seams help against pressure points and thus offer ideal wearing comfort. Due to the membrane this hood offers ideal protection against particles, bacteria, viruses, liquids and hot steam. The fabric is certified according to DIN EN ISO 11612, EN 1149-5 and additionally certified according to EN 13911. Flame-retardant due to the use of aramid and Lenzing FR.

Product instructions

  • Knitted climate zones and integrated stretch inserts ensure that the movements adapt optimally to the wearer.

  • Comazo|protect relies on aramid for flame protection. The special yarn consists of approximately 115 individual fibers and thus exhibits extremely high strength.

Material

  • Base layers made of aramid are particularly robust and are characterized by high strength, making them ideal for protecting the wearer and are widely used in the field of PPE.

  • Belltron® is an antistatic, carbon-containing light fiber. Even by adding small quantities of Belltron® to the main material, the workwear has antistatic properties, which are of particular importance for work in clean rooms.

  • The advantage of functional fibers is that they release moisture to the outside and are therefore breathable. They can also contain basic and/or thermal functions.

  • Lenzing FR® meets the highest demands when working in the heat or the danger of fire and protects against heat stress. Manufactured from the natural raw material beech wood, the fiber offers protection against heat in a wide variety of work areas

Certification

  • This seal includes the performance requirements and test methods for fire hoods to protect the head and neck from heat and flames.

  • This seal is specifically designed for protective clothing for end users who are exposed to brief contact with flames and against a limited amount of convective, contact and radiant heat.

Care instructions

  • 60° gentle wash cycle

  • Do not bleach

  • Do not iron

  • Non-dry cleaning

  • Dry in tumble dryer at normal temperature
